What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis for the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment, creating software solutions.

You will:

• Develop next generations products and will have an opportunity to shape the best client technologies in the world.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems.
• Prepare, review and evaluate software specifications based on the product requirements, and contribute to the designs and implement them as product features with specific focus on device and serviceability of client platforms.

Essential Skills:

• 2-5 Years of Software Development experience working in Agile SDLC & C/C++, Win 32/Storage API, Windows/Linux/Unix Programming, Storage and a degree ofBachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering.
• Knowledge of CPU architecture, Multi-Threaded Environments, Databases, Storage Technologies & excellent code detective and root cause analysis skills on a variety of platforms and languages
• Experience in feature requirements, development and design of applications which interact closely with business along with experience in Windows, Linux & Aix operating systems & relevant File systems.
• Hands-on exposure to AI technologies; proficient use of AI copilots across SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask effectively.
• Quality first mindset; ownership from development through testing phases.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Python scripting & CI/CD; Java is a plus.
• Experience with operating system clusters & database clusters; implementing automation tools/frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience in storage domain is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts including GenAI & prompt engineering techniques.
